Manjari Phadnis, who is known for her role in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008), was a victim of cheating recently. After Manjari inaugurated a mall in Hyderabad in 2010, her photos were being used by the mall in their promotional campaign without taking the actress' permission. Apparently, the actress had done a photo shoot and had accepted to be a part of the promotions only for six months. However, the mall continued to do so, even after a couple of years.
Initially, the actress claims that she tried to settle matters amicably and opting for a legal action was her last resort. The actress decided to take matters to court when she started loosing out opportunities to represent other malls as an ambassador in the same city. Her advocate Rizwan Siddique has already started with the legal proceedings and they are awaiting a response from the mall currently.
