Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Amitabh Bachchan may be regarded as one of the strongest pillars of Indian cinema today, and now the British Asian weekly newspaper has designated the 70-year-old actor as the Greatest Bollywood Star in its survey of '100 Greatest Bollywood Stars'.
The survey was compiled via a combination of audience votes through social media, box-office figures, cinematic impact and critical acclaim. While Bachchan led the poll, he was followed by yesteryear's acting legend Dilip Kumar, while Shah Rukh Khan bagged the third spot.
As for the actresses, Madhuri Dixit who placed fourth in the overall list, topped the poll among Bollywood's female actresses.
