Asin has given an array of successful films in Bollywood and has even made an entry to Bollywood's popular Rs. 100 crore club. And now shifting back to South Indian Cinema, Asin seems to maintain the trend of blockbusters in that film industry too.
And for her contribution to the South films, the actress was conferred with Pride of South Indian Cinema award at SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards). Popular star Dhanush presented the honour to Asin in Dubai. The actress was quite excited about this award as this was her second SIIMA. She had won her first SIIMA for Best Actress in 2011 for Kaavalan.
