Anil Manoj Vidya lend their voice for Mahabharat

Some time back we had reported that Amitabh Bachchan would soon be lending his voice to the animated series Mahabharat. Now we hear that Anil Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee are the latest names to join the cast of the ambitious animation film.

While Anil will be lending his voice to the character of Karna, Manoj has dubbed for Yudishtir's character in the animated retelling of the Indian epic saga. The actors were spotted at the Future Works Studio in Andheri recently and the film's producer Jayantilal Gada confirmed their addition to the cast, "Both Anil and Manoj have shown full commitment. It was very gracious on their part to agree to impart voices to the two very important characters in my film."

"Anil gave a lot to my film. Despite his hectic schedule, he took time off to come to the dubbing studio for more than two weeks," added Gada.

Apart from the three, the animation film will also feature a star studded cast of voices with Vidya Balan (Draupadi), Sunny Deol (Bheem) and Ajay Devgn (Arjun). But the makers are still on the lookout for a voice for the villain of the epic, Duryodhan.

Gada is planning to release the film this Diwali but when asked about a clash with the other big festival release Krrish 3, he said "No we're not going to clash with Hrithik Roshan's film, we'll release a week before or later, but in the festive season."
