These penalties, which amount to Rs. 2.17 crores in total, have not been paid despite there being no appeal filed or appeal having been dismissed, the CCI said while publishing a list of these defaulters.

Among the defaulters Aamir Khan stands to pay Rs. 1 lakh only, which was imposed as part of an order passed against 27 film producers on May 25, 2011 in a case related to anti-competition practices by filmmakers. This order was passed following a complaint being filed with the CCI by FICCI Multiplex Association of India.
