Kareena Kapoor, who is the reigning Bollywood heartthrob of today's generation and one of the few actresses who has won both critical as well as popular acclaim, was honoured at House of Commons by Members of Parliament and Asian Sunday newspaper for her contribution to the global entertainment industry. The actress was honoured by Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, on behalf of the British Government.
Also honoured at the event were British celebrities, Kimberley Walsh (singer-songwriter, model, TV presenter, actress and band member of Girls Aloud); and Dynamo (AKA Steven Frayne, Dynamo: Magician Impossible). The milestone occasion was witnessed by Bradford and London MP's, VIP's, dignitaries and influencers from across the business and media sectors.
