USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… The enfant-terrible of desi pop has gone vegetarian. Apparently, Yo You Honey Singh now refuses to touch a single vulgar word or suggestive visual in his songs and their videos.
Currently, shooting a promotional music-video with Sunny Leone in Mumbai, Yo Yo has clamped down on all porn-pop fantasies. Understandably one expects some steamy stuff in a video featuring the sexy Sunny and the roguish Yo Yo.
But Honey Singh cuts down all sexy speculation, sighing, "Aisi meri kismet kahan? Sadly Sunny Leone and I don't have any suggestive moves to make. It's not a sexy song. It's a party song. There are 400 dancers with us. What can we do with 400 people around?"
Honey Singh, who has had an extraordinary year of success in 2013, says the promotional music video that he's currently shooting with Sunny Leone for the film Ragini MMS 2 is being done for Ekta Kapoor's sake.
Says Yo Yo, "Ektaji has been requesting me to do a song for six months now. Lack of time delayed this video. Otherwise I'd have rushed to do Ektaji's behest. I hugely admire her for what she has achieved. As a woman and an achiever, she is according to me an example for every girl-child in the country."
Shooting with the leonine Leone is a party for Yo Yo Honey Singh.
"Hum donon masoom bachche kaafi dhoom macha rahen hain," says Yo Yo, his tongue firmly in his cheek.
When asked about his opinion on Leone, Yo Yo says, "She is a very hard-working lady. I admire every artiste who works hard."
