Adah carries different looks in back to back releases

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… For 1920 girl Adah Sharma, two back to back Fridays wouldn't have been as eventful as this one and the next. Off the big screen for a while, she now has a double bill in the form of Heart Attack and Hasee Toh Phasee. While the former hits the screens today, the latter arrives next Friday, hence making it a happening season for Adah who would be seen in altogether different looks in both the films.

Her Telugu film Heart Attack is a biggie indeed as it is directed by Puri Jagannadh. Maker of quite a few successful films, he did make his Bollywood sojourn with Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap. Though the film couldn't cover much distance at the box office, he struck big with Mahesh Babu starrer Business Man. Now for Heart Attack, he has taken a romantic route and presented Adah in an altogether different look.

The girl indeed needed it, considering the fact she played a woman possessed in 1920 and then had a serious part to play in Phhir as well, both Vikram Bhatt affairs.

"Somehow she couldn't break into the glamorous avatar despite her pretty looks. However, Puri was sure that he wanted to make her Telugu debut special. She is the solo leading lady opposite Nithin Reddy (seen in Ram Gopal Varma's Agyaat) and plays a sweet-n-simple girl. Though she isn't required to indulge in an overt skin show for the film, Puri made sure that she was presented in a stylish avatar. Her costumes were specially designed and those who have seen her work in Hindi films are in for a surprise as she has gone through a complete transformation," informs a source who has had a dekko at Heart Attack.

Meanwhile for those following her work in Bollywood, her presence in Hasee Toh Phasee has finally been revealed, courtesy the song 'Shake It Like Shammi'.

"Adah has always been mighty charged about the film, and especially the song. After all, she is being seen in a 'saree' for the first time around, something that suits her thin-n-tall frame," the source adds, "Yet again, even in Hasee Toh Phasee she carries different looks. What one sees in the song, where she is gyrating along with Sidharth Malhotra, is just a glimpse of what she is doing in the film."

For obvious reasons though she has not been making much of a noise about Hasee Toh Phasee since her part in the film has currently been kept under the wraps. While Adah continues to stay mum about what she has to offer in the Karan Johar production where she is presented in a glam avatar, she doesn't mind sharing her thoughts about Heart Attack where she is in the main lead. She says, "Well, it is a Puri Jagannadh film after all so it is bound to be special. Moreover my part is not just restricted to being a quintessential leading lady. There is a lot more that I offer in there which is going to shock the audience."

As for the varied looks she would be seen, Adah smiles back, "Aren't those the perks that come along with being an actress?"
