With a backdrop on the nexus of films and mafia, Himesh Reshammiya's The Xpose is a murder mystery based in the 60s. The film, which is also the stepping stone for debutants – Miss India Zoya Afroz and Sonali Raut – will see the girls reprising the iconic roles of Parveen Babi and Zeenat Aman.
Sonali will be aping the popular scene of Satyam Shivam Sundaram for the film where Zeenat Aman was seen pouring water on the 'shivling'. Excited about the upcoming film, director Ananth Mahadevan said, "The film's story revolves around two films which were made during the 60's Ujwal Nirmal Sheetal and Reena Mera Naam and a murder which happens at the after award party. The Xpose has it all from cat fights in parties to black marketing, politics during those days but somewhere deep within it is a violent love story which leads to desire, scandals and a murder."
Produced by HR Musik, The Xpose also stars Himesh Reshammiya, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Adil Hussain along with Irrfan Khan in a special appearance.
