Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Right before the release of their film Bhoothnath Returns, BR Films has been facing legal crisis after Viacom 18 sued the company for Rs. 20 crores for failing to abide by a past agreement. Hence, a case has been filed for the same at Bombay High Court on April 7.

Apparently, Viacom 18 had collaborated with BR Films in 2007 for two films and had even paid Rs. 10 crore for the same but the films never saw the light of the day. Hence, in order to return the borrowed amount, BR Chopra decided to opt for a mutual agreement with Viacom 18 where the latter will be given a particular stake in Ravi Chopra's production house. However, now, when Viacom 18 asked the production house about the agreement, they refused to acknowledge it. Hence, a miffed Viacom 18 decided to follow the legal procedure.
