Though she has been away from Bollywood post the delivery of her twin babies, Celina Jaitley has always voiced her support for the LGBT community. Being the ambassador for United Nations' Equality Champion for its Free & Equal Campaign, Celina will be seen promoting the cause in a first of its kind – 'Bollywood Style'.
Giving a sneak peek into the campaign, Celina will also be debuting as a singer for this one and she has opted for the famous Lata Mangeshkar classic 'Uthe Sabke Kadam' from Baaton Baaton Mein. Composer Neeraj Shridhar will be re-working on this number and a music video for the same will be shot soon. Talking about this new campaign, Charles Radcliffe, chief of global issues at the UN human rights office said, "Bollywood is a global trendsetter with a massive cultural impact that goes far beyond India. This is a great chance to harness the talent, colour and sounds of Bollywood to promote an important human rights message to a potential audience of millions."
Other icons who will promote this campaign worldwide include Ricky Martin, Daniela Mercury, American band Sun and recent Grammy winners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
