Breaking away from the image of the quintessential Punjabi lover boy, Ayushmann Khurrana this time will be starring in a period film. Also, Ayushmann will be playing the role of a scientist inspired by Shivkar Bapuji Talpade in this film.
Shivkar Talpade is supposedly one of the first scientists to have flown the first unmanned plane and Ayushmann who plays the role is seen attempting to fly one such butterfly plane in this still. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film has not only undergone extensive research but even the remains of Marutsakha, the original aircraft, have been used in the film.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment, Hawaizaada also stars Pallavi Sharda and Mithun Chakraborty and is slated to release on October 10.
