USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It seems like the days of Indian filmmakers aping the west are finally fading away, in fact now the tides have turned. News is that a Colombian production house will be remaking the 2011 Ranveer Singh – Anushka Sharma starrer Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.
Apparently, the Colombian company 64A Films, will be partnering with Indian production giant Yash Raj Films for the remake. However, while in the original Ranveer played the role of a conman, the remake will feature his character as a gigolo who seduces then robs the women. The yet untitled adaptation is slated to commence in the Colombian cities of Bogota, Cali and Cartagena, with 60%-to-70% of picture's action taking place in Cartagena.
