USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…So you thought Vidya Balan and Kolkata were the heroes of Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani? The director's next film tentatively titled Durga Rani Singh would have an unusual hero Kalimgpong (Nepal).
Revealing the unusual location Sujoy says, "I am from Bengal and I know that geographical area very well. My film is a thriller that requires that sort of a landscape which Kalimpong is known for."
Not willing to reveal much about his film ("The thrill of the thriller lies in its viewing") Sujoy does let out that Irrfan leads the cast in the kind of role he has never played before.
"I haven't worked with Irrfan before. He is a hugely talented actor. There is much more that he can do apart from what he has been seen doing so far. I am not saying I am the magician who is going to open up the locked vault of Irrfan's talents. But yes, I believe my film has him in a different avatar," teases Sujoy.
