Homi Adajania, whose film Finding Fanny will be releasing this week, has been garnering a lot of attention. While wishes for the success of the film and congratulatory messages from those who have watched the film continue to pour in, the director seems to battling the problem of identity theft.
In fact the director recently discovered a fake Facebook account by his name, where the impostor has been interacting with people and inviting them to audition for his next film. Visibly agitated about this violation, Homi commented saying that apart from angering him, such a gimmick is horrible and it's due to such imposters that the industry gets a nefarious reputation.
Acting on this, Homi Adajania has since written to Facebook and has even made an official complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell.
