USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After a long wait, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Hollywood project Broken Horses finally seems to be ready for release. Chopra who had a smooth career in Bollywood had to wait for years to fulfill his dream of making a Hollywood debut and had encountered several obstacles.

From a recce that started in 2009 to the shooting that commenced from 2012, the film has struggled for quite some time despite names like Tom Stern (Clint Eastwood's primary photographer), Toby Corbet as a production designer, Mary Vogt (costume designer of Men In Black and Batman Returns) being associated with him. Initially there were several rumours that the film has been shelved and now rubbishing them, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra revealed that Broken Horses will release in the US on January 16. Broken Horses is based on the bond of two brothers. With a backdrop of a nexus of drug mafia around the American-Mexican border, the thriller traces the journey of brothers belonging to different professions – one is a violinist who plays at popular concerts, and the other is a hired soldier.

Produced by Mandville Films, Broken Horses stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Christopher Marquette, Anton Yelchin, Thomas Jane, Sean Patrick Flannery and Maria Valverde. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has also expressed his wish to remake the film in Hindi with Indian stars whenever he gets an opportunity.
