USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…When Priyanka Chopra's eye infection decided to play the villain in the shooting of Bajirao Mastani, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wasted no time in quickly organizing a Diwali party at his home on Wednesday night.
The red-eye ailment didn't dampen Priyanka's spirits. Not only did she show up for SLB's surprise Diwali party she stayed on till the end, bonding with the other star-attraction of the evening Kangna Ranaut till the end of the party.
However SLB's third-favourite Deepika Padukone couldn't make it as she was in Dubai attending the premiere of her new release Happy New Year.
While the other major Diwali parties of the film industry this year were held on Thursday, SLB's impromptu Wednesday-night party at his residence was clearly a clutter-breaker.
Says a source close to SLB, "On Thursday night, that's on Diwali night, all of Bollywood attends the parties at the Bachchans and Aamir Khan. SLB didn't want a clash. He chose a quieter Wednesday night for his party and that too because his shooting got cancelled."
Nari Hira and Ekta Kapoor also hosted their Diwali party on Wednesday night.
Ekta's party was attended by Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor. We hear the two are front-runners for the female lead in Ekta Kapoor – Bhagat's adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Half Girlfriend.
