He played iconic roles in thefilms in the 90s. No wonder then, he was and is a darling of the masses.
It's a real sad thing to know that the man who entertained everyone all his life in films (Hindi and Marathi) like Ardh Satya, Kaal Chakra, Sadak, Ishq … to name a few, is a critical condition now, even as you read this article. Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, his daughter Reema Amrapurkar said, "My father had been admitted him 2 weeks ago for the treatment of a lung infection. But, since the last five days, he has been in the ICU and is really critical now. The doctors have now put him on a ventilator."
