Lyricist Manoj Muntashir is very upset over the fact that he has not been mentioned in the credits of Rang Rasiya despite composing the lyrics for the film.
Manoj Muntashir claimed that he had penned the lyrics for the Ketan Mehta directorial six years ago after which the film was stuck. But now, that the film will finally see the light of the day, the lyricist is miffed about his work not being acknowledged. Recalling a similar experience, Manoj further added that when he had written the lyrics for Ketan Mehta's another film Tere Mere Phere, his credits were missing from the film's print and when he had discussed the matter with the filmmaker, it was dismissed as an error. So Manoj decided to stay mum but once again, the error has been repeated and Manoj believes that this time around, the missing credits seems to be a consequence of a fight he once had with filmmaker Ketan Mehta.
Responding to Manoj's claims, producer of Rang Rasiya and wife of Ketan Mehta, Deepa Sahi, stated that this was just a human error and that she has already asked the marketing team to rectify it on the footage and other promotional material. She was also all praises for Manoj's work in her film and appreciated his talent as a poet.
Manoj Muntashir, on the other hand, claims that his demands have fallen on deaf ears and his name still hasn't appeared on the credits.
Presented by Pen India and produced by Deepa Sahi along with Anand Mahendroo, Rang Rasiya stars Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen in lead roles and it is slated to release on November 7.
