Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Sanjay Gupta, who was last seen donning the directorial hat for the 2013 film Shootout at Wadala recently, commenced work on his next venture Jazbaa. The film marks the return of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to the big screen after motherhood. While the shoot of the film has been gaining momentum, producer-director Sanjay Gupta seems to be in a spot. In fact known film producer Vinod Bachchan issued a legal notice to Sanjay Gupta demanding a sum of Rs. 50 lakhs that was apparently given as remuneration to Gupta for a previous venture that failed to take off.
However, on the other hand, Sanjay Gupta has filed a case against Vinod for extortion and harassment. In his case Gupta accuses Vinod Bachchan of sending him a 'fake' legal notice demanding a refund of Rs. 50 lakhs which was his compensation for a film that did not take off. Apart from this Sanjay Gupta has also filed a police complaint against Vinod Bachchan for the same.
