Reliving the nightmare Sharib says, "This is the closest I've ever come to death. It was the scariest experience of my life. I was sitting at the window seat. Jo manzar maine dekha woh bahot darwaana ttha (the scenario I witnessed was terrifying)."

The aircraft which flew the team of the Sharib's new film Badmaashiyan from Delhi to Chandigarh encountered inclement weather while landing.

Says Sharib, "The entire cast was there in the flight. The pilot tried to land the plane twice but the visibility was almost nil. Thank God the pilot took a decision to return to Delhi. His decision probably saved all our lives. Only God knows what would have happened if the pilot had landed the plane in Chandigarh in that weather. It is his quick thinking that saved our lives."
