Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After Aarakshan, we will see actress Deepika Padukone playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter once again in the upcoming Shoojit Sircar directorial Piku. This family drama is extensively shot in Kolkata and has recently completed its shoot schedule.
Amitabh Bachchan who has shot previously with the actress expressed his sorrow when he had to part ways with his co-stars after the end of the shoot. Recently, when the megastar came across Deepika Padukone and his yet another co-star from the film Irrfan Khan at an event, Amitabh reminisced about the days of the shoot and took to Twitter to mention about it. He said, "And meeting up with the lovely Deepika and the talented Irfan .. wanted to start shooting again for 'Piku' .. but its all over !"
Produced by MSM Motion Pictures, Piku also stars Moushumi Chatterjee, Jishu Sengupta and we will also see Pizza 3D actor Akshay Oberoi in a cameo. The film is slated to release on April 30, 2015.
