USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It's out. Though no one is talking about it officially here is andar ki baat. Karan Johar's Dharma Production is all set to start a huge multi-starrer in June titled Kapoor & Sons.
To be directed by Shakun Batra, the film will feature Rishi Kapoor as a grand old 90-year old patriarch of a dysfunctional family. Says a source, "Rishi plays the grandfather. Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan will play Rishi's grandchildren. The very important roles of Rishi's son and daughter-in-law are yet to be cast."
Adds the source, "Shakun who earlier did the Kareena Kapoor – Imran Khan film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has been dying to work with Alia ever since they did the hit internet film Alia Genius Of The Year."
This would be Fawad Khan's second Bollywood film after his very successful Bollywood debut opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat.
Interestingly, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra who are said to be romantically involved would be playing siblings in Batra's film.
