USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…We all know that the workers who toil their sweat and blood behind the screen are as hard working and dedicated as the filmstars who work in front of the camera. That's why it becomes really important to safeguard the health and also the income of these workers.

While there have been many news about the casualties and non-payment issues towards the workers, the latest one is that, two of the contractual workers who were working for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan are apparently still awaiting their medical compensations to the tune of Rs. 31,000. Of these two workers, while one is a painter who fractured his hand, the other is a carpenter who got diagnosed with dengue during the shoot.

Speaking about the same, Gangeshwar Shrivastav (General Secretary- Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union) said that, despite them sending reminders about the pending bills to Mukesh Cineworld (who provided the two contractual laborers); they haven't got any response so far. That's why they have now sent the bill to Kabir Khan. However, an official of Mukesh Cineworld claimed that there were no pending medical bills. Meanwhile, Kabir also clarified that he too checked with the accounts department and got to know that there were no such reminders from the union. He added that a medical bill of Rs. 6000 was submitted last week.
