USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It seems that singer Mika and controversies always go hand in hand. The last time Mika was surrounded by controversy was when he publicly kissed Rakhi Sawant. This time round, he did not kiss anyone, but, went one step ahead and slapped a doctor in full public view.
The said incident took place in Delhi yesterday evening when Mika was performing at a live concert organized by the 'DOS' (Delhi Ophthalmological Society) as a part of their three-day conference at Delhi Pusa Institute Mela Ground, Inderpuri. The 'victim', who was identified as Dr. Shrikant, works as an ophthalmologist in Ambedkar Hospital, New Delhi. He is reported to have got some internal injury inside his left ear due to Mika's assault. The Inderpuri Police Station (Delhi) has now registered a case against Mika, for causing hurt and wrongful restraint against him.
Speaking about the incident, a police official said that, when Mika was performing on stage alongwith a few members from the audience, one of the audience members (Dr. Shrikant) did something that irked Mika. That's why he slapped him on stage in front of the full public.
