The very moment one mentions the name Ghayal, the memories of the 'iron man' Sunny Deol and his by-now- cult 'dhaai kilo ka haath' immediately refreshes our mind. That's the magnetic power that the film holds even today. No wonder then, its sequel is one of the most awaited films of the era.
The news is that, its sequel, which is called Ghayal Once Again
, will be seen taking off from where the first film left and that the film is based on a real-life event in the life of a Mumbai Police encounter specialist. The latest update is that, the satellite rights of the film have been sold off to Viacom 18 for a whopping Rs. 20 crores. When we quizzed Suniel Saini (co-producer) of the film, he said, "Yes, the satellite rights of Ghayal Once Again
have been sold off to Viacom18." But he refused to divulge the figures.
Bollywood Hungama's reliable sources however confirmed that the film has been sold off for a whopping Rs. 20 crores to Viacom 18.
