Shraddha Kapoor has a tough time keeping steps with Varun Dhawan

In ABCD 2, which is the second installment of India's first 3D dance film franchise, its female lead Shraddha Kapoor had a tough time keeping pace with her co- star.

While Varun Dhawan is a natural-born dancer, Shraddha had to work hard to get there. Recalling her struggle to excel, choreographer-director Remo D'Souza says, "Shraddha started off at a disadvantage vis-à-vis the other dancers on the team. But she was determined to get it right and to match steps with Varun and all the other professional dancers."

Shraddha Kapoor burnt the midnight oil, rehearsing her intricate steps rigorously even injuring herself in the process.

But the results are, according to Remo, staggering. "By the time we started to shoot the dance numbers, Shraddha was dancing as expertly as Varun and all the other professional dancers in my film, namely Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, Ketan Vaghela and Ravi Shewale."
