USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Sunday, May 3, 2015, a six-year-old boy attended the Summer Islamic School, that runs out of the Danforth Islamic Centre at 3018 Danforth Avenue.
– the boy was approached by the accused within the building
– the accused showed the boy a sexually explicit video
– the accused then proceeded to sexually assault the boy
On Thursday, May 14, 2015, officers from the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre arrested Dewan Syed Mosiur Reza, 69, of Toronto.
He was charged with:
1) Make Available Sexually Explicit Material to Person Under or Believed Under 16 years for Specific Criminal Offences
2) Invitation to Sexual Touching Under 16 Years of Age
3) Sexual Assault
4) Sexual Interference with a Person Under 16 Year of Age
He appeared in court at College Park on Friday, May 15, 2015, room 507.
Police believe there may be more victims.
The accused had access to other children at the school. In addition, the accused had access to children who attended two home daycares in the City of Toronto.
From 1999 – 2009, the accused was present in a home daycare in the Crescent Town neighborhood of Toronto. That daycare in the Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue area is no longer operational.
From 2009 – present, the accused has had access to children in a daycare at 155 Heale Avenue.
