USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The raging controversy over the allegedly vulgar and blasphemous content of the trailer of Dr Chandraprakash Diwedi's Mohalla Assi now threatens to cross all proportions.

The latest and most alarming development is that the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) has been sent a notice from the honourable Allahabad High Court seeking an explanation as to how and why the allegedly offensive trailer was passed.

Reacting to the honourable court's notice Pahlaj Nihalani, the chairperson of the CBFC says, "We've not cleared the allegedly offensive trailer or any other material or footage pertaining to Mohalla Assi. How and why the trailer is being screened on various websites and portals without censor certification is a mystery to the CBFC. We are waiting for an explanation."
