After having many cinegoers stand up (no pun intended) and take notice of their onscreen camaraderie in Hunterrr, the film's couple Gulshan Devaiah and Radhika Apte will now be seen in the film's sequel.
Speaking about the sequel to Bollywood Hungama, the film's director Harshvardhan Kulkarni said, "It (the sequel) will happen someday for sure. But, I really don't know when. We would love to announce it as soon as we have a bound script in place." On the other hand, Gulshan Devaiah said that, it is only after Mandar Agashe (his character in the film) meets Tripti (Radhika Apte), does he lose all his insecurities. Devaiah also clarified that the sequel will not go the Tanu Weds Manu Returns
way by showing the rocky path of couples post marriage. He added that while the screenplay is presently being written, the film should get rolling by January. He also assured that the film's sequel would be totally wilder, crazier and entirely different from the first film.
While Hunterrr's sequel will retain most of the characters and the ensemble cast, it will now tread around a year after the couple's marriage.
