Emraan Hashmi to launch his book on how his son defeated cancer

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier we had mentioned that Emraan Hashmi will be writing a book on how his son Aayan defeated cancer at a young age with the help of co-author Bilal Siddiqui. Hashmi, who is also the nephew of Mahesh Bhatt, now took to social media to announce about the same.

Emraan Hashmi tweeted about the title of the book saying, "So happy to announce the title of my book… The Kiss of Life : How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer" and he further added, " Book will release in English, Hindi and Marathi 🙂 .. Will update you all on the release dates soon." Published by Penguin India, the title of the book 'The Kiss Of Life' was inspired by a tag associated with Emraan Hashmi who was once termed as a 'serial kisser' of Bollywood for kissing all his co-stars onscreen.

Aayan was diagnosed with the disease whilst he was four years and was taken to Toronto for a chemo treatment. Emraan Hashmi had expressed his wish to write a book about how his son defeated cancer long ago after Aayan recouped from this illness to ensure that parents and the victims of the disease are aware of how to cope up with the stress related to such ailments.

Apart from this, Emraan Hashmi also established cancer detection camps at varied locations in Mumbai to create awareness about the disease and its treatment.
