It was with shock and surprise that audiences at the Zee Cine Awards saw Yo Yo Honey Singh make an appearance all of a sudden after a two-year disappearance.

Where was Honey Singh, and is he ready for a comeback? The answer to this is not very clear. According to friends in the film industry Honey Singh is still not ready to resume his phenomenally successful career. "He is disoriented, disconnected from the entertainment industry. Something happened to him two years ago that broke his spirit," says a former buddy, one of many whom Yo Yo has cut loose from.

Some say the showdown he had with Shah Rukh Khan in the US while on a global concert tour broke his morale and he had a nervous breakdown. Others say he needed to undergo rigorous de-detoxification.

Apparently the reports of Honey making a comeback are far from the truth.

"He isn't coming back yet. The reports that Yo Yo Honey Singh will sing a song for Salman in Sultan are completely false. There is no desire from Yo Yo's side to return," says a knowledgeable source.
