The highly controversial anti-homophobia film Aligarh is all set to be screened at what is at present the most controversial educational institute of India. The Jawaharlal Nehru University, parent to a litany of controversies lately, will play host to Hansal Mehta's Aligarh on March 4.
On Tuesday, March 1, Hansal celebrates the 'success' of Aligarh with a party for those who contributed to the film's impact.
Says Hansal, "The film has reached to the correct kind of audience. It has received tremendous support from the media. I can't recall any film which has been so lovingly reviewed. I am inviting all the critics who looked at my film the way it was meant to be seen. And I am inviting all those colleagues who believed in the film."
