USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Almost the whole of India witnessed the much awaited India-Pakistan World Cup T20 match over the weekend. There were many who were simply touched by Amitabh Bachchan's soul stirring rendition of our national anthem before the commencement of the match.

However, the latest update is that, a Delhi-based lawyer has now lodged a police complaint at New Ashok Nagar police station in East Delhi against Amitabh Bachchan (a copy of the same is available with Bollywood Hungama), in which he has remarked that Amitabh Bachchan had 'stretched' the national anthem by around 30 seconds, which was apparently violation of guidelines. To be more specific, Amitabh Bachchan's rendition of the national anthem lasted for 1 minute and 22 seconds (as against the 52 seconds approximately according to the guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs).

Readers may recall that, just a few days back, there were reports against Amitabh Bachchan, stating that he had charged a whopping Rs. 4 crore to sing the national anthem during the match. The claims were later rubbished by Cricket Association of Bengal's President Sourav Ganguly, who told a leading media house that, besides booking his own flight, tickets and footing the hotel bills, Amitabh Bachchan did not even charge a single penny reasoning that he was doing it for the love of the game.

Watch this space for developments.
