The actress later decided to work for others who suffer from anxiety and depression, and decided to launch her own foundation 'Live, Love, Laugh'. And now, she has taken yet another step in that direction wherein she will be campaigning for mental health awareness in schools this month.

Deepika Padukone asserted that this new campaign titled 'You Are Not Alone' aims at helping teachers and students to identify the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Starting with her hometown Bengaluru, the said initiative will be kick started from the place where the actress studied, Sophia High School in the city and its objective is to cover over 200 schools. The Bajirao Mastani actress believes that since a child gets acquainted with school at a young age, it also becomes a prime source that affects one's physical and mental health. She also added that school can also help kids in many ways by providing counselling sessions and so on for the ones suffering from these mental disorders.
