For months together, there have been several speculations about the upcoming film Udta Punjab. In fact, while Shahid Kapoor kept updating about his gymming sessions on his Instagram page, we got glimpses of his perfectly sculpted body and bearded look too. And we now present you the official first look of the Kapoor lad in this upcoming drug drama.
Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a Punjabi rockstar – 'Tommy Singh' in Udta Punjab. Taking the character to the next level, we hear that he adopted the body language, lingo and style of Punjabi rockstars of today. While his look has triggered our curiousity levels, we are eagerly awaiting the avatars of the rest of the star cast of the film.
Udta Punjab also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. The film which is presented by Balaji Motion pictures and produced by Phantom is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is slated to release on June 17.
