'Absolutely unrecognisable' will be the immediate reaction of anyone who sees Alia Bhatt's first look in the much awaited film Udta Punjab. Readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama had brought to you the first looks of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, both of whom were stunning in the respective looks of a rockstar and a doctor respectively.
This time round, it's Alia Bhatt, whose look has been revealed today. Alia, who plays the role of a Bihari migrant worker, is all set to stun everyone not just with her character, but also with her dialect. Besides the film's makers, it was Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt who also tweeted his daughter's look from the film with an apt caption "Anything is possible if you have got enough nerve."
Besides the trio of Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, Udta Punjab also stars Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. The film which is presented by Balaji Motion pictures and produced by Phantom Films is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is slated to release on June 17.
