The Hindi version, we can tell you, will undergo many changes including the main lead. Sajid's best friend and Kick lead Salman Khan will play the role of the NRI who comes home to search for his former girlfriend's missing daughter.
For the role of the woman who reaches out to the man who still loves her, played by Adah Sharma in the Telugu original, Katrina Kaif is a front-runner.
Says a source, "Both Salman and Katrina are very keen to come together again for a film. And the Hindi remake of Kshanam seems very apt. The female protagonist plays the hero's ex for whom the hero would go to any lengths. Isn't that very much like the role that Salman is playing in real life?"
