USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier this month, Amitabh Bachchan had been named in the controversial Panama Papers. Following this revelation Bachchan was quick to issue a statement denying any involvement in the claims made by the report. However, a leading daily newspaper involved in the ongoing investigation of the Panana papers stated that Bachchan had indeed been in touch with the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca and that Bachchan participated in the board meetings of two firms' viz. Tramp Shipping Limited mentioned and Sea Bulk Shipping Company Ltd via telephone conference.

Reacting to the allegations of his involvement in the issue, Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted yesterday saying, "My statement to media yesterday re Panama not come out in some papers. Here it is: On the Panama disclosures, I wish to state that queries continue to be sent to me by the media. I would humbly request them to kindly direct these to the GOI where I, as a law abiding citizen have already sent, and shall continue to send, my responses. I stand by my earlier statement on the 'misuse of my name' in the matter and in any event the press reports do not disclose any illegal act committed by me."
