It is going to be celebratory times at the Bachchan household. A record is in the making as each of the three Bachchans – Big B, 'beta' Abhishek and 'bahu' Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would have a release to their name within four weeks of each other.
"Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Sarbjit arrives on 20th May. Abhishek Bachchan's Housefull 3 has set its date for 3rd June and then Amitabh Bachchan's Te3N releases just a week later on 10th June. This has never happened before when an entire family had so many films of their release in an almost back to back fashion," comments a senior member of the fraternity.
In fact, it would be interesting to see this near-clash in the making for the Bachchan parivaar as Housefull 3, powered by the presence of Akshay Kumar and the franchise factor, would see a mega release in theatres just two weeks after Sarbjit. On the other hand, Big B's Te3N is looking ultra-exciting, which means, for those looking at a thrilling affair, it would act as a good deviation from the slapstick humor that Housefull 3 has to offer.
"All said and done, expect each of the three Bachchans to be on the field for next one month and a half, courtesy the many promotional activities that have been lined up for the three films," our source adds, "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going all out to promote Sarbjit as she has to make it much bigger than her much publicized comeback affair Jazbaa. Abhishek Bachchan is relying a lot on Housefull 3 since his last film All Is Well was a damp squib. His record with multi-starrers (Dhoom 3, Happy New Year, Bol Bachchan) is quite good though. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has to move ahead of Wazir, which was a major disappointment."
The signs are all correct for each of these three films and if they all turn out to successful at the Box Office, it would indeed be a record created by the Bachchan family before they move on to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and PINK (Big B) in the second half of the year.
