The pretty lady Amyra Dastur seems to be having a gala time on the sets of her forthcoming film Kung Fu Yoga. While the actress received a lot of praise for her culinary skills recently, Amyra also had a rather memorable birthday with the entire film's cast and crew.
Amyra Dastur, who turned 23 on May 7, had a working birthday this year. The actress flew to Beijing to wrap up the schedule of Kung Fu Yoga. Amyra was away from her family on her special day and it was her co-star and Chinese superstar Jackie Chan who decided to celebrate her birthday on the sets of the film. Humbled by the gesture and expressing her gratitude towards Jackie, Amyra added, "I landed on the 7th in the morning. I didn't want to make a huge thing about it being my birthday so I just kept quiet about it. Jackie Chan invited a few of us to his office in Beijing where we watched a movie of his called Chinese Zodiac and then sat down for dinner. Next thing I can see is Jackie Chan holding a cake with a candle in it and started to sing 'happy birthday' along with everyone in the room. It was the sweetest and most pleasant birthday I've ever had."
Directed by Stanley Tong, Kung Fu Yoga also stars Disha Patani and Sonu Sood and is slated to release early next year.
