Karan Johar and his Bollywood friends ring in his birthday in London

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…His birthdays are often the talk of the town considering the lavish way Karan Johar likes to splurge on the special occasion. The director-producer, however, decided to move away from his hometown this year and celebrate his birthday amidst the hustle-bustle of yet another city, London. However, he wasn't alone there and was accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar along with a few friends from the Bollywood brigade who added the required glamour to the bash that was held last night.

Karan Johar brought in his 44th birthday last night at a popular club in London and several Bollywood stars attended the occasion considering that some of them were already present in the city. The bash had KJo's best friend and superstar Shah Rukh Khan in attendance, putting all rumours to rest about the alleged fallout between them. King Khan was also accompanied by his wife Gauri. On the other hand, the producer's friends Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Aarti Shetty and Kaajal Anand too decided to take a trip to London in order to coincide it with Karan's birthday.

While Karan Johar's protege Sidharth Malhotra too was a part of the bash, Ayan Mukherji too decided to fly to London for the same. However Karan's other proteges Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan couldn't make it to the bash since they are busy shooting for Dharma's Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

The guestlist also included Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who were in the city holidaying. Besides them, former couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif too attended the bash after wrapping up the schedule of Jagga Jasoos in Morocco. We also hear that while Katrina will stay back to spend some time with her family in London, Ranbir and Ayan will be returning to Mumbai together.
