Onir to make a documentary after 20 years

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The award winning filmmaker Onir, who is best known for directing films like My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal, is all set to make a documentary after a break of 20 years.

Onir has been roped in by the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for a documentary on 'Down Syndrome'. The documentary will be 80 minutes long and will be shot at various locations in India including Delhi, Pune and Chennai. The objective of the documentary will be to create awareness about the genetic disorder. It will feature kids from various parts of the country who are suffering from this disorder and also their success stories.

Onir's documentary will be premiering at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in August this year. It will be released online after the premiere.
