USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Known for his comedy films, Milap Zaveri is all set to explore the dark and emotional genre of films. He recently announced his debut as a producer under the Write Direction Films banner with a short film titled Raakh along with motion logo of the film.
Directed by Milap Zaveri, Raakh stars Vir Das, Richa Chadha and Shaad Randhawa in pivotal roles. The filmmaker further revealed that it is a dark, powerful, emotional revenge thriller and is his experiment with this genre as a director. He further added, "I am extremely grateful to Vir Das, Richa Chadha, Shaad Randhawa and all the technicians for being a part of this wonderful project. It will be thrilling to see these actors in a dark and violent space! Also it's my first film as a producer under Write Direction Films and I am excited for this new beginning."
Co- Producer of Raakh, Prachi Thadhani said, "It's been a great journey in my production career in last 10 years working for my mentors Sanjay Gupta at White Feather Films, Sajid Nadiadwala at NGE, Sunny Deol at Vijayta Films and others. Today I get an opportunity to produce my first short film under Waterlilly Films, along with my friend and co-producer Milap Milan Zaveri."
Produced by Sandeep Kewlani, Komal Kewlani, Vardhaman Choksi, and Prachi Thadhani, Raakh is scheduled to kick start in Mumbai on July 22 and wrap its shoot sometime in August.
