"Pyaar reasonable nahin hota, bus bevajah hota hai," is a catchy dialogue that figures in both the Teasers of the T-Series film Tum Bin 2 that were unveiled at a well-attended media event in Mumbai today. Director Anubhav Sinha revealed that for the first time he has written the dialogues in his own film and that he really enjoyed writing the romantic lines in Tum Bin 2 which is the second film in the Tum Bin franchise.
Tum Bin was the first film that was produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series label. Sinha recounted how he used to make music videos for the prolific music label and how he got call from Kumar one fine day enquiring if he would like to direct a film. "That's why I've come to Mumbai, television serials and music videos happened but telling stories on the big screen is my ultimate aim," Sinha said. After narrating the two line idea of Tum Bin Kumar handed over Rs 11 as a shagun. The same amount was handed over once the idea of Tum Bin 2 was locked last year.
Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and debutante Aashim Gulati look razor sharp in both the teasers that were launched today. As expected the music is haunting and the master stroke was the usage of Jagjit Singh's iconic Ghazal Koi Faryad from Tum Bin. Incidentally Bhushan Kumar had the raw tape of Jagjit Sahab's recording which was mixed in a new format by Tum Bin 2's music Composer Ankit Tiwari along with freshness sung by Rekha Bhardwaj. Tum Bin 2 releases on November 18.
