Though his Bollywood films have often been unconventional, Irrfan Khan has been a part of some of the most renowned ventures in Hollywood. After his pivotal role in the recent instalment of the popular sci-fi adventure franchise Jurrasic World, Irrfan, as we know, also plays a prominent role in Inferno.
The film, which is the adaptation of the Dan Brown novel by the same name, will also release in a Hindi dubbed version and Irrfan Khan was recently spotted dubbing for the same. In fact, we hear that the actor completed the dub for the Hindi version of the film in four hours flat after finishing a manic day of shooting for another film in New Delhi. Irrfan Khan plays the role of Harry Sims ‘The Provost’ in the film.
Speaking about the dubbing experience, Irrfan Khan added, “Yes, it was quick but it was a good change for me on a day when I was simultaneously shooting for another film in Delhi.” He also admitted that he had dubbed for the English film in parts as there are a lot more dialogues and inflections.
Ron Howard’s Inferno will be released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in India in four different languages namely, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on October 14.
