Akshay Kumar and Alia Bhatt came together to support women's self-defense art academy this past Sunday. The duo was joined by Aditya Thackeray where they felicitated women at the prize distribution for their special course. The defense academy works for women where they learn kinds of martial art forms for all kinds of women safety. Alia Bhatt very impressed with these women and shared a lovely photograph with them. She wrote, "A Sunday afternoon well spent at @akshaykumar Women's self-defence center. Such a pleasure to meet these lovely women and young girls!!!! We should urge every school to make martial arts & self defence compulsory so we all can stand up for ourselves when the time comes!!!! @adityathackeray thank you for supporting this initiative." Akshay Kumar live streamed on his Facebook page while the women showcased different forms of skills for safety purposes. During the demo session, the trio cheered for these women. On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for Badrinath Ki Dulhania. She will also be seen in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi soon. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar is shooting for his next film Jolly LLB 2.
