Earlier, we had reported that Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be starring together in a movie titled Thugs of Hindostan which will be produced by Yash Raj Films. Recently, during the press conference on his 74th birthday, Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news of working with Aamir Khan. He also expressed his excitement as he always wanted to work with Aamir for the longest time but never got an opportunity. He confirmed that they will begin shooting in February 2017. He said, “There have been many attempts for us to work together, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I look forward to that opportunity to work with him. Aamir Khan is a great star and a great actor. He has been ruling the box-office and industry for many years. I consider myself fortunate to have got the opportunity of working with him. The shooting for Thugs of Hindostan starts in February 2017.” Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor), the writer-director of Dhoom 3, is teaming up again with Aamir Khan on this film. The lead actress is yet to be announced. The film is scheduled to release during Diwali on November 7, 2018.
