Akaash [Kartik Tiwari] and Vani’s [Nushrat Bharucha] lives alter the moment they meet in a college in Delhi. Akaash comes from Chandigarh, while Vani comes from Dehradun. It’s love in the beginning sight for Akaash, while Vani too reciprocates it immediately. In those 3 years spent in college, Akaash and Vani share several incredible moments, filled with laughter and sunshine. But an accidents changes their lives. Akaash and Vani drift apart…

AKAASHVANI may be a vintage love story in mind, but Luv Ranjan helps to ensure that the love birds in the movie are far taken off the ones you’ve witnessed in various avatars in assorted movies. Yet, the film takes you to the days when love and emotions were conveyed through words and expressions, unlike today’s times where social networks play a vital part in our lives. What also sets this film apart would be the episodes within their love story, which, again, revives memories from the unadulterated romantic sagas we was raised watching within the 1970s and 1980s. Kiran Kumar and Shubhangi [as Vani’s parents] and Mahesh Thakur and Prachi Shah Pandya [as Vani’s uncle and aunt] are excellent.

On the whole, AKAASHVANI appeals for that characters that Luv Ranjan has established as well as the buoyancy and gusto that the principal actors bring alive the characters on-screen. The movie contains the perfect blend of sparkle and spice and it is definitely worth a watch. Do it now!
