AMREF’s voice was heard loud and clear on International Women’s Day on March 8. Working with AMREF US and AMREF UK, we launched a day-long Twitter campaign to spread the word about women’s health in Africa. Together, we highlighted the amazing women who are part of AMREF and those whose lives have changed for the better. AMREF’s Director General, Dr. Teguest Guerma, also released a special International Women’s Day message calling on all of us to Stand Up for African Mothers.
